Obituary of Dylan R. Stone

Dylan R. Stone, 19, Stow, Ohio.

On March 11, 2016, our beloved son, brother, grandson, friend and teammate passed from this earth unexpectedly into Heaven to join his grandparents and best friend Andrew. He is now resting in peace and comfort in the arms of our loving God. He will forever be remembered as smart, caring, handsome, athletic and especially funny. He could make anyone laugh even when there was nothing to laugh about.

Born March 26, 1996 in Akron, OH to Juli and Robert Stone, he was a full time student at Kent State University studying business finance with plans to become an attorney. Dylan was always thinking and always had a new idea of how to make things better in this life. Dylan lived life to the fullest, from the moment he stood up and took off walking at 8 ½ months without ever crawling. He would try anything and loved to have fun with his family and friends. Dylan loved everything related to sports, especially the Buckeyes and football. He loved the outdoors, the beach, hiking, fishing and swimming, and could hold his breath forever. Dylan loved old fast hot rod cars and enjoyed going to car shows with his Grandma and Pop. He was compassionate for all of God's creatures, especially his animals and his 101 year old great-grandfather who he helped take care of for the last two years. Addiction did not define who Dylan was, but ultimately robbed him from us. Love and cherish your family and let them know that anything is possible. Fight for them and with them, as we did for our son.

Dylan leaves behind to carry on his memory, his parents Rob and Juli, brothers Ryan and Evan, and sister Audrey. Additionally he is remembered by his grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, especially Carly. He leaves behind many special friends, especially Jacob and Jonte. Friends and family were everything to Dylan and he would have done anything for you. Dylan was a kind and gentle soul that will forever be in our hearts.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral. Mass of the Christian Burial Wednesday 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, to keep his memory alive, donations may be given to Redmon Funeral Home for a scholarship to be established in his name at Stow-Munroe Falls High School.

Dylan is in our hearts forever, as he was our oldest son for which we will always have a void.
