Andrew Karl Pavelko

Andrew "Drew" Karl Pavelko passed away in Hartville at the age of 68 after a long struggle from multiple medical illnesses.

Born the second son to Andrew and Winona (Wilson) Pavelko of Barberton, he is preceded in death by his older brothers, Tom Cholak and Dan Pavelko; along with younger brother, Randy Pavelko. Drew is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Russell) Silvey; and his grandchildren, Lillian and Henry.

Through life's journey, Drew enlisted in the Army and served in Vietnam. He also graduated from Kent State University and worked as a project manager for the Ohio Department of Transportation for nearly 30 years before retiring. He was an intelligent and multi-faceted man who was an avid reader and historian. He also loved travel and the adventure of fatherhood. He will be missed.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to be made to the Salvation Army.
