KENT - Angelina Natalie Rubino (née Aloisi), 92, passed away May 25, 2025.
Born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1932, to Orlando and Carmela Aloisi, she was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, GG, and friend. Above everything else, Angelina loved her family.
She was a graduate of St. Mary High School in 1950, and worked at BF Goodrich Chemical, where she met Joseph Rubino, marrying him in 1955. Angelina had also been employed with Alside, retiring in 1991.
She was a lifelong lover of books, finding joy and inspiration in the pages of countless stories. Angelina was a gifted cook whose food was the centerpiece of every family gathering, especially her legendary cheesecake.
She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Antonio and Providenza Rubino; sister, Mary Stevens; brother, Louis Aloisi; loving husband, Joseph Rubino; infant son, Joseph Anthony, and great-granddaughter, Grace Providence Junk.
Angelina leaves behind her children, Gerald (Renee) Rubino, Providence (David) Nedved, and Orlando Rubino; daughter-in-law and forever friend, Joanne Sutherin; beautiful grandchildren, Cassandra (Jose) Mendoza, Francesca (Michael) Gerbick, Christina (Dan) Junk, and Joseph (Samantha) Rubino; precious great-grandchildren, Caesario and Carrina Krause, Carmela Mendoza, Angelina, Chad, and Jacob Gerbick, Ruby and Cooper Junk, and Graham Rubino; sweet grand-dogger, Tahoe; siblings, Aurora Lauretta, Joanne Mira, Carol (John) Flasco, and Orlando (Lori) Aloisi, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She spent her final time on this earth in the loving care of her daughter, Providence, and son-in-law, David, and received faithful visits from her grandchildren, family, and friends. The family would like to extend their thanks to her very special Earth Angels, Winnie (RN), Sam (STNA), and Jolene (Caregiver), who provided dedicated, compassionate, and loving care to Angelina.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 11 AM, at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls 44221, where friends may call from 10 AM, until time of the Mass. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angelina's great-granddaughter, Ruby Lynn Junk’s, name to CSNK2A1 Foundation (Okur-Chung Neurodevelopmental Syndrome), 1929 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94109.
