Obituary of Anna Mae Davies
MUNROE FALLS - Anna Mae Davies, 93, nee Bowman, passed into her new life on January 24, 2016.
Anna was born on March 18, 1922 to John and Cora Bowman in Erie, PA. In 2007 she relocated to Mulberry Gardens Assisted Living in Munroe Falls, Ohio near her daughter, Marilyn.
Anna was proud of her German heritage and ancestors who settled in Pennsylvania in the early 1700's. She was proudest, however, of being the matriarch of the family she loved so very much. Anna was an avid golfer and bowler who also loved knitting and spending time with her many friends.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; and her siblings, Robert, John and Jeanette. She is survived by her three daughters, Jean (Stephen) McGarvey of Springfield, PA, Marilyn (John) Mazzarella of Stow, OH, Karen (Richard) Dobry of Hershey, PA; Seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Mulberry Gardens for their years of care and attention.
There will be private family services with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Erie, PA.
