Anna M. (Bower) McElroy

MUNROE FALLS - Anna M. (Bower) McElroy, 89, died September 21, 2015.

Born in Akron, she was a lifetime area resident, living in Munroe Falls since 1959. A graduate of North High School, she was a lifelong active member of Northwest Ave. Church of Christ. Throughout her life she has been a member of the Stow Garden Club, Toastmistress, UCC of E Auxiliary and a volunteer group leader for The GriefCare Place in Stow. She has made and given away countless dish cloths and scrubbers.

Preceded in death by her husband Carl in 1997, she is survived by son Paul (Laura) of Munroe Falls; daughter Barbara (Gary) True of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Jeffery (Amy) True, Jason (Meredith) True, Karen (Jon) Maynard, Matthew (Corey) McElroy, Mark (Ashley) McElroy,; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Dubetz of Stow.

Friends may call at Redmon Funeral Home 2-4 and 6-8PM
Thursday and one hour prior to the service at 11 AM Friday at Northwest Ave. Church of Christ, 737 Northwest Ave. Tallmadge, where Pastor Scott Baker and her son-in-law Gary True, Minister, will conduct service at 11 AM. Burial Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Northwest Ave. Church of Christ.
