MUNROE FALLS - Anthony (Tony) Basil Scafidi, 84, passed away on July 13, 2026.

Born in Akron, Ohio on November 19, 1941 to the late Anthony & Mary (Fisher) Scafidi. Tony was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Pasta Sundays were his favorite days of the week, eating, laughing and playing euchre with his family. He could fix almost anything (Tony’s Fix It Shop) and was quick with a joke - even if they didn’t make sense…”Radio!” He gave the best advice, we usually did the opposite! He loved mowing his lawn IN STRAIGHT LINES and could handle anything. After every completed task, we would hear his trademark - “I got it!” He will be greatly missed and each memory will forever make his friends and family smile.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Suzanne, his children Annette Norquest, Carrie (Bryan) Madden, Lisa (Tim) Monk and Anthony, grandchildren Trevor, Kade, Riley, Danielle, Bella, Duncan, Nathan, Emma, April, Sarah, great grandchildren Grace, Jack, Viola, and siblings Mary Ann, Barbie and Cheri. He was preceded in death by his siblings Pat, Billy and Jimmy.

Service will be held Friday, July 17, 11AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave, Cuyahoga Falls OH 44221, with a Celebration of Life to be held afterwards at Kool Lake at 1 PM, 970 Hardy Rd, Cuyahoga Falls OH 44223.
