Archie Archie-Dennis

Archie W. Dennis, 91, passed away March 25, 2014. Born in Beaver Falls, PA, he served our country in the Army Air Corps in WWII, was a member of the Acker-Moore American Legion Post, and the 351st Bomb Group. Archie worked as a Tool and Die Maker, and retired in 1986 from Chrysler.

Archie had room for everyone he met, welcoming all into the family with laughter, love and golf. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years Deloris, children Bill (Tracy) Dennis, Connie (Terry) Mardis, Arch (Lori) Dennis, grandchildren Amy, Samantha, Eric, and great-granddaughter Allisin, sisters Mary Marum and Melpo Scotese.

The family will welcome friends at the Redmon Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 7 PM, where Trisagion Service will be held at 5:30 PM. The Reverend Father Jerry Hall will conduct funeral services Monday 11 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 South Union Street, Akron 44304. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Tuesday 11:30 AM.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Annunciation Church or one's favorite charity.
