AURELIA ROSSI (nee D'Orazio), age 85, beloved wife of the late Giovanni. Loving mother of Maria (Dr. Anthony) Pipitone of Hudson, and Assunta (Robert Traci) Rossi of Westlake. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Daniel, David, and Marcella Pipitone.Dear sister ofFrancesco (Deceased), Angelo, Mercurio, and Anthony D'Orazio; Melania (Deceased) D'Antonio; Mary Maricocchi; also surviving is step-grandson Christopher (Molly) Traci; step-granddaughter Moira (Rob) Creedon and step-great-grandchildren Jack Traci and Keira Creedon.
Born in Montenerodomo, P. Chiete, Italy, she had lived in Canton for many years prior to moving to Hudson.Aurelia was a skilled seamstress, and also enjoyed working alongside her husband Giovanni in a cigarette factory in Switzerland. An avid gardener, she looked forward to sharing her vegetables with her neighbors. This gave her the opportunity to do something else she lovedtalking with anybody.
Funeral Mass at St. Mary Church, 340 North Main St. (Rt. 91) Hudson, OH 44236 on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 am.
Family will receive friends at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road (Rt. 91), Stow, OH, 44224 onMonday June3, 2013 from 5 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association would be appreciated.
