Barbara A. Convey, age 70, died August 10, 2018.

Barbara was born October 18, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from high school, Barbara earned her Bachelor Degree in English from Cleveland State University and began teaching in the Cleveland Public Schools. Continuing her own education, she earned a Masters in Education from Cleveland State University. Later in her career she earneda Masters Degree in Library Science from Kent State University. Barbara taught English and was a Librarian for Cleveland Public Schools for 32 years. Upon her retirement, Barbara worked part-time as a Librarian.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Elsie Convey. She will be sadly missed by her numerous good friends, godchildren, and many cousins. Barbara loved to shop and travel around with family and friends. Her warm smile for all will be missed.

Services will be heldat St. Mary's Cemetery, 851 Mill Road, Ravenna, 44266 on Saturday, September 1 at 10 am. Following the service, the family invites everyone to a light brunch and sharing of memories in Tobin Hall at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main Street, Ravenna, 44266.
