Barbara H. Vachon (nee Ink), 69, died February 7, 2011. Born in Akron, she was a 1959 graduate of North High School and received her BS degree in education from Otterbein College in 1966. She had taught in the Akron Public School System from 1964 to 1972.
She is survived by daughters Elizabeth (Eric) Kargbo and Vickie (John) Pittner, grandchildren, Daniel and Joseph Kargbo, Jackson, Zachary and Benjamin Pittner and sister Dorothy Bauer.
Pastor David Klein will conduct a memorial service Saturday 11 AM at Church of New Hope, 4415 Darrow Road, Stow, where friends may call Saturday from 10 AM until service time.
