Barbara A. Kline

March 29, 1932 — October 12, 2025

Stow

STOW - Barbara A. Kline, 93, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband, Dr. Leo Kline, Jr., her parents, John and Pauline Meissner, and her siblings, John and Joe Meissner, Helen Moore, Margaret Sabatino, and Alice Dangelo. She is survived by her sister, Katherine Mary Greeneisen, the sole living sibling.

Barbara’s greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind a loving legacy through her children, Leo, III (Lori), Kevin (Jill), Karen Kline (Robert Huff), Paula (Dave) Ross, and Carol (Dale) Novy, her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life.

Born on March 29, 1932, in Salem, Ohio, Barbara met the love of her life, Leo, while they were still in school. Together they built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and an unshakable partnership that carried them through more than a half century of love and shared purpose.

Barbara had a heart for giving and community. Alongside Leo, she was deeply involved in Stow Youth Baseball and the building of the Stow Youth Baseball (SYB) Hall and Field Complex. Whether she was running the concession stand, organizing bingo nights, or decorating for events, she gave her time and energy wholeheartedly. She was also Leo’s steadfast companion during his many years of coaching at Stow-Munroe Falls and Cuyahoga Falls High Schools, cheering on his teams and supporting every player like family.

Beyond her volunteer work, Barbara found beauty in the simple things - the joy of crafting something by hand, the peace of watching the birds outside her window, and the laughter shared over a family meal. She guided with quiet strength, cared deeply through difficult times, and offered comfort and love without hesitation.

To her children and grandchildren, she was the heart of the family - a steady presence whose kindness, patience, and unconditional love shaped their lives. Her warmth made every homecoming brighter, her smile made every day softer, and her care carried those she loved through life’s hardest seasons.

Barbara’s life was a reflection of grace, kindness, and devotion. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave continues to live in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM, where services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 11 AM.

Private interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dr. Leo (Doc) and Barbara Kline Memorial Scholarship at www.stowschoolsfoundation.org/donations/donate/, so that the spirit of giving, caring, and mentorship that Barbara and Leo shared may continue to inspire others.
