Bernard Leising

Bernard "Bernie" Leising, 68, died November 10, 2014. Born in Covington, KY, he was a graduate of Newport High School and Xavier University. He worked 40 years in sales for the steel, glass and refractory industries. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, where he was active in the Boy Scouts and the Hosanna People.

He loved camping, golf and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you for the wonderful care by our Hospice nurse, Meg, and the Summa Hospice staff.

Bernie is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eileen, children; Michelle (Steve) Aladich, Chris (Linda), Brian (Carrie), Julie (Brian) Bauman, Jennifer (Jorel) Buffa, 11 grandchildren, sister Mary Little, brothers Robert (Laura Kay) and Richard (Barbara) and was preceded in death by his parents and brother William.

Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday from 4 to 8 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be conducted at Holy Family Catholic Church Saturday 10 AM. Interment Standing Rock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 23297 Commerce Park, Cleveland, OH 44122.
