Obituary of Betty J. Stallings




Betty J. Stallings (Robertson), 80, died August 5, 2018.



She was born Nov. 15, 1937 in Elba, Alabama, graduated from Columbus, GA High School and, for most of her high school years, attended Geneva High School, AL, where she was a majorette. She moved to Atlanta and attended the Atlanta Art Institution, where she met and married Ron. Betty also worked as an office manager for the May Companies.



Preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Vonnie Robertson, she is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ron, daughters, Janet Hudak (Mark), Pam, Sharon Hendershot (Tim), and son Steve; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.



Betty will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend, Ron. She was a very loving person to her friends and family. Her children were her life and she was a great cook and prepared her family some wonderful southern cooking.



Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Saturday from 9 to 10:30 AM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be conducted Saturday 11AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, 44221, Father John Hengle celebrant. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 70 W. Streetsboro Street, Hudson 44236.
