Obituary of Betty A Swartz



Betty Ann Swartz (Winters), age 79, passed away after a courageous battle with COPD on July 23, 2015. A native of Vale Summit, Allegany County, Maryland, Betty was a devoted mother, a loving wife and grandmother. She was an avid gardener, who loved hunting morel mushrooms. She was preceded in death by her husband William Manley Sr. in 1982, and husband Roy Swartz in 2007, Father; John Winters Jr., Mother; Bessie Winters, Sister; Bessie (Mitzer) Milburn, and brother; John Winters III. She is survived by her sister; Sarah Keller, Daughters; Diane Bejcek and Kathleen Honsaker: Son; William Manley Jr., Stepson; Roy B. Swartz, Stepdaughter; Sherry Jenkins and Grandchildren; Brittany Long, Rachel Bejcek, Brett Bejcek, Corey Honsaker, Tyler Honsaker, Logan Honsaker, Joe Manley, Luke Shorder, Rick Swartz, and Ashley Catalano. Calling hours will be from 10 am to Noon, with a Memorial service beginning at Noon on Saturday, August 1st. The calling hours and service will be held at: FallsCreek Community Church, 149 Northmoreland Ave, Munroe Falls, OH 44262. There will be also be a gathering after the church service, in the Fellowship Hall of the church. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to make a donation in the name of "Betty Swartz", to FallsCreek Community Church. Philippians 2:3-4.
