Bonnie J. Beck

STOW - Bonnie J. Beck, died December 6, 2015.

Born in Detroit, MI she had worked as a registrar at Akron Children's Hospital and St. Thomas Hospital. She loved hosting Thursday night dinners and visiting with her children. She also loved the beach and the Independence Place condo pool.

Preceded in death by parents Jack and Virginia Ackerman, Bonnie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry, daughter Jamie (Dan) McShane, sons John (Pam), Mike (Cate), grandchildren; Jessica (Patrick) Lowrey, Megan (Ryan) Steele, Nicole (Chris) Layou, Amanda (Steve) Slack Shane Detwiler and Brandon and Grace Beck, great-grandchildren Gianna, Caleb and Finn. She is also survived by her brother John (Theresa) Ackerman, brother-in-law Denny Beck, nephews Jim (Allison) and Bob Beck.

The family would like to thank Dr. Joseph Koenig, Dr. Matthew Chung and the staff at 7 East and Hospice for their excellent care.

Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Thursday 10 am. Interment Silver Springs Cemetery.
