Brooks Mckay Malin

STOW - Brooks McKay Malin passed away February 7, 2025, at Akron Children’s Hospital.

Although he spent a short time on Earth, Brooks was surrounded by the love of his family and friends. He was able to meet his big brother, Cooper, and looked just like him. Brooks was a fighter from the beginning and his huge impact will live with us for the rest of our lives.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Choler, he is survived by his parents, John and Lindsey Malin; brother, Cooper; maternal grandmother, Pam Choler; paternal grandparents, Jack (Kim) Malin and Kelly (Bob) Bicknell; aunts, Kelly (Brian), Chris (Lauren), Emmy (Geoff), and cousins, Zane, Blake, Wyatt, and Grady.

Private services are being held with family.

Thank you to the nurses and staff that took care of our family at both Akron City Hospital Perinatal Unit and Akron Children’s Hospital NICU and Palliative Team.
