Carl Steve Koltas

STOW - Carl Steve Koltas, 83, died February 23, 2026, after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Lorain, he graduated from Kent State University and was a 50-year resident of Stow where was owner of Koltas State Farm Insurance for over 40 years. Carl enjoyed golfing and was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church in Stow, where he had served for several years as Finance Chair.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Rich Boettner; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kathleen Koltas; grandchildren, Jeremy and Noah (Autumn) Boettner, Julia, Peter, Andrew, Maria, and Joy Koltas; great-grandchildren, Luca and Margot Boettner, and sister-in-law, Rose Koltas.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elizabeth Koltas, and brother, Kenneth.

Rev. Scott Low will conduct services on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 12 PM, at the United Methodist Church in Stow, 4880 Fishcreek Road, Stow 44224, and where friends may call from 10 AM, until time of service.
