Carmella A. Schneider

HUDSON- Carmella A. Schneider, 87, died April 4, 2013.

Born in Alliance, she earned degrees from both Baldwin Wallace College and the University of Mt. Union, was a 40 year Hudson resident and an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Carmella spent many years as a school teacher in Brooklyn, OH, Giessen and Heidelberg, Germany and upon returning to the United States, she continued teaching in San Bernadino, CA , New Berlin, WI and finally at Silver Lake Elementary School. Mrs. Schneider was also an avid Bridge player, a former member of "The Establishment" and enjoyed her monthly meetings with other Silver Lake retired teachers.

Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Josephine Maita, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerrold, former owner of Falls Mold and Die.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 340 N. Main Street, Hudson 44236. Interment Crown Hill Burial Park.
