Carol Ann Golby

Carol Ann Golby, 81, was welcomed home by the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, surrounded by family and friends at Akron General Hospital.

Carol was born in Cleveland Ohio to the late Ralph and Frieda Kruse. She was an active member of Northampton United Methodist Church and former member of Hudson United Methodist. In addition, she was an active Stephens minister who touched many lives.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Golby and brothers Ralph Paul Kruse and Harlan Kruse.

She is survived by her sons David and Jonathan Golby and her three grandchildren Andrea and Ariel Golby, Aaron Golby and his wife Katie. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, September 18 from 1 to 4 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Rd. Stow, Ohio. A funeral service will be held Monday, September 19 at 10 AM at Northampton United Methodist Church, 852 W Bath Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Rev. Keith McLaughlin will officiate. Interment at Northfield Macedonia Cemetery.
