Carol Joan (Harner) Williams, 79, beloved mother and grandmother, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on June 21, 2018.
Born in Mantua, raised in Farmington, she was a graduate of Kent State University. She taught in Streetsboro, retiring in 1996 with 30 years of service. As a member of Stow Alliance Fellowship, she served in many ways for many years. She enjoyed helping others, baking and gardening.
She is survived by her dear friend Clinton Pell, son Steve (Kim) Williams, daughter Sue (Norm) Armentrout, grandchildren Edward (Kelsey), Kimberly and Katie Armentrout. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Harold Williams, her parents Virgil and Alice Harner, brother Robert Harner and sisters Kathryn Black and Lea Brown. She will be sorely missed.
Friends may call Monday from 3 to 5 PM and 6:30 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home. Pastor John Kitchen will conduct service Tuesday 11 AM at Stow Alliance Fellowship, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Interment Silver Springs Cemetery.
