CAROLYN M. BROWN (AIKENS, HINTON)

STOW - Carolyn May Brown (Aikens, Hinton) passed away on November 9, 2015 at the age of 77, predeceased by her husband, Donald Brown in 2007.

Born in Zanesville and raised in the Akron area, Carolyn graduated from Kenmore High School. She later married her first husband Thomas Aikens and together, they had 6 children.

One of her favorite hobbies was creating beautiful floral arrangements for her family and friends. She was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers. Carolyn was a great lover of animals throughout her life, including her current furry friend, Daisy May.

Leaving to mourn her passing are her children, Thomas (Jackie) of Lake Mary Florida, Terry (Diane) of Stow, Timothy (Deborah) of Munroe Falls, Robert (Tammy) of Los Angeles California, Tammy Horvath (Robert) of Colorado Springs Colorado and Shari of Stow. She also leaves grandchildren, Angela, Robert, Scott (Ansley), Justin (Angie), Kelsey, Brian, Matthew, Nicole, Amanda and Melissa.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday, November 11 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday 12 noon at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a random act of kindness be performed to "pay it forward" in her honor, just as she did over her lifetime.
