Catherine R. Wahl

In loving memory of Catherine (Miller) Wahl, a woman of strength and joy. She was born June 13, 1918 and born to the next life on July 7, 2014.



Catherine was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Margaret Miller; sons Fred and Larry Wahl and daughter Susie. She is survived by her sister, Sr. Rose Miller, O.P. of the Dominican Sisters of Peace and her loving children, Cathy and Bill Evans of Stow, Frank and Debbie of Summerville, SC and Larry's wife Lisa, of Mogadore. She was blessed to have ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and many cherished nieces and nephews.



Catherine will be remembered as a capable woman of many talents and a quick sense of humor who handled the rough times in life with courage and trust in God. She devoted her life to caring for her family and left a legacy of love and homemade quilts.




Catherine's family is grateful to the staff of Maison Aine for their loving care.



Visiting hours will be on Friday, July 11th from 7 to 9 in the evening at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Robert Pahler on Saturday, July 12th at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls 44223. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
