STOW – Cesira Riccillo, 85, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Cesira was born in Tripoli, Libya, growing up in Ceregnano, Italy and later made her home in Stow, Ohio. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy was the family she loved so deeply.

Affectionately known as “Nonna,” Cesira showed her love in countless ways, but perhaps most memorably through her cooking. She loved bringing family together around the table and was especially known for making the very best sauce—a family favorite that will always bring back memories of her and the love she put into every meal.

Cesira also had a love for traveling and enjoyed the experiences and memories that came with seeing new places. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family. Her love, traditions, and the many memories created around her table will continue to be carried on by those who loved her.

Cesira was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ennio Riccillo, and her parents, Angelo and Gina Roversi.

She is survived by her children, David (Janelle) Riccillo, Anna Waters, Donald (Carol) Riccillo, and John (Michelle) Riccillo; her brother, Joseph (Susan) Roversi; her grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Ian, Jacob and Johnny and many cousins in Italy.

Cesira will be deeply missed, but her family will forever remember her as their beloved Nonna—the heart of so many family gatherings, the maker of the best sauce, and a woman whose love could always be felt around her table.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Heritage of Hudson for the loving care, kindness, and support they provided to Cesira and her family.

In accordance with Cesira’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Her family will honor and remember her privately, carrying with them the love, memories, and traditions she leaves behind.
