Cheryl Lynn McFarland

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Cheryl Lynn McFarland, 65, went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2025.

Born in Akron, Cheryl was a lifetime area resident, had retired from Pneumatic Scale-Angelus in 2024, and was a member of The Chapel in Green.

Cheryl was an avid animal lover, nurturing numerous dogs and birds, and was an accomplished horseback rider. She loved crafting, quilting, and scuba diving. Some of her favorite memories revolve around her trips with Russ to Israel and numerous beaches.

She was preceded in death by her father, William John Evans, and is survived by her husband of 44 years, Russ McFarland; her children, Wade Eric (Libby), Lara Lynn Perkins (Ron), Chad Matthew (Ruth), Seth Adam (Wendy), and Hope Pauline Rechenmacher; her grandchildren, Caleb (Madisyn), Noah, Grace, Ella, Tessa, Calynn, Aiden, Joshua, Matthew, and Gavin; her great-granddaughter, Poppy, and her siblings, John Evans (Jamie), Janet Owen, Karen Glasgo (Jeff), and Don Evans (Tammy).

Pastor Mike Castelli will conduct services Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 2 to 5 PM. 

Burial will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, at 12:45 PM, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
