Obituary of Clifford Eldon Battershell
STOW - Clifford Eldon Battershell, 85, passed away July 5, 2014.
Born in Alliance, Eldon was a long-time area resident. He enjoyed collecting antiques, always enjoyed helping people and was very giving. Eldon proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Airforce from 1948 to 1952 and retired from Superior Mold & Die in 1993 after 35 years of service.
Preceded in death by his first wife Judy and second wife Kate, Eldon is survived by his son, Michael (Kelly); and grandchildren Rachel and Aaron.
Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Saturday, 2:30 PM at Redmon Funeral Home where friends may call from 1 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made toValor Home Committee,Post Office Box 7498,Akron, Ohio 44306.
