Obituary of Daniel O. Myers

STOW - Daniel O. Myers, 86, died October 19, 2017.

Born in Plymouth, OH, he was a longtime resident of Mansfield then Stow, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Myers had been employed as an engineer with PPG, then with Akron Crane and Conveyor (ACC Automation) prior to retiring in 1994. He was active in the Assembly of God churches, helping build Mansfield First Assembly. Mr. Myers later attended Evangel Temple and most recently The Chapel.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 2013, to whom he was married for 62 years, and his brothers Merrill and Dick, he is survived by his three children, Stephan Myers (Beth), Dawn Churpek (John), and Christopher Myers (Mary Anne), grandchildren, Summer, Aric, Aaron, Stephanie, Joshua, Brent and Olivia;t en great-grandchildren and sisters Ruth Swanders and Esther Hampton.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 1 to 4 PM, where Rev. Canon Andrew K. Gross, husband of granddaughter Summer, will conduct service Sunday 4 PM. Burial Friday, October 27th11 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
