Daniel W. Nichols, Sr.

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Daniel W. Nichols, Sr, 69, of Cuyahoga Falls passed from this life and into the arms of his savior on Friday, April 8, 2016.

Dan graduated from Kenmore High School in 1963 and attended Grace Bible College in Indiana. He graduated from Goodyear Apprentice School in 1969 and worked for Goodyear as a machine repairman and scale maintenance man for almost 37 years until his retirement.

Dan was a member of Victory Life Church and was a previous member of Sanctuary of Praise and the Cathedral of Tomorrow. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and soul and shared that love with everyone that came into his life.

He was a member of the Akron Derbytown Chorus, Gaslight Tradition, Clear Choice Quartet, and former Chorus Director of Matinee Singers. He loved singing, painting, carving, glasswork, drawing, sewing and many other hobbies he was inspired to try.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Stella (Boyce) Nichols and his brother Michael J. (Pat) Nichols. He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Kathleen (Stage) Nichols, his children Daniel W. (Amy) Nichols, Jr., Jennifer (Scott) McWilliams, Mindy (Marvin) Brown, and Kalli (Todd) Alvis, along with his sister MaryAnn (Michael) Collard. He had many family and friends who will miss him dearly as well.

Daniel had 16 grandchildren that were the light of his life, Nadine, Michael, Katricia (Ace), Vincent, Zechariah, Josiah, Nora, Jazmine, Isaac, Savanna, Samuel, Micah, Maeve, Niehra, Gabriel, and Matthew. He also had 6 great grandchildren that he adored, Caleb, Klara, Jeric, Damien, Daniel-Craig, and Colin.

Rev. Matthew Skifstad will conduct service Wednesday 11 AM at Victory Life Church, 3833 Hudson Drive in Stow where friends may call Tuesday 5 to 8 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM until service time. Private burial Greenlawn Memorial Park.
