Obituary of David Alfred Blumenthal

PENINSULA - David A. Blumenthal, 78, passed away September 14, 2018.

The son of Alfred and Abby (Haynes) Blumenthal, he was born on February 19, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio.

David worked as a heavy equipment operator with Local 18 for over 30 years.

Preceded in death by his parents, David is survived by his wife Mary Blumenthal of 54 years; daughters, Vonnie (Darren) George and Robin (Michael) Dyke; grandchildren, Chad (Michelle) George, Matthew George, Alicia (Daniel) Garner, Kylie Dyke, Ryan Dyke, Sydney Dyke and Tyler Dyke.

The family would like to extend an invitation for you to join them for a time of worship and remembrance. The memorial service will be held Friday, September 21 at GateWay Worship Center, 661 E. Exchange Street, Akron, OH. 44306. The service will begin at 6 PM.
