David Allen Hervey

David Allen Hervey, of Stow, passed away peacefully March 5, 2021. David was born in Jefferson, Ohio on June 18, 1945. His family soon made Stow their home. David played football and threw the shot put on the track team. He then attended Cleveland Community College before beginning a decades long career working for the City of Stow, ending as the Service Director of the Street Department. David is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 53 years, Carol; son Aaron; daughter-in-law Dana Goldsmith Hervey and grandson Cameron James. He was preceded in death by his father David Edward, mother Ruth Louise (nee Sonnenwald), brother Timothy and sister Joyce Marie. A memorial service will be held Saturday 3 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, where friends may call from 2 PM until service time.
