David W. "Mopar Dave" Sellers

AKRON - David W. “Mopar Dave" Sellers, long time resident of Akron, Ohio, passed away on January 1, 2023, following an extended period of declining health.

David was reared in Jackson, Ohio, and was a graduate of Jackson High School in the class of 1967. Following his graduation, he moved to Akron, eventually retiring from the City of Akron having worked as a radio technician for Public Safety vehicles.

David’s hobbies included antique radios and Chrysler cars. He enjoyed the friendships of his fellow enthusiasts at their local clubs.

David was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind a sister and brother-in-law, brother, extended family, and many friends. The family would like to thank those friends who supported Dave through difficult times.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
