Born in Akron, she grew up in Silver Lake and settled in Stow. She worked at the law firm of Hershey & Browne, then at Kent State University's Department of English. Dawn was an incredibly devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, with a passion for her career, her home, and her travels.
Preceded in death by parents David and Twyla, she is survived by her brothers Rick (Maureen) and Kevin (Bobbin); sons Derek (Mandy) and Brett (Debra); grandchildren Ian and Alice; a niece Courtney; and nephews David, Andrew and Cameron.
