Delores J. "Dee" Kalman

Delores "Dee" Kalman, 87 of Austin TX, formerly of Stow, Ohio, passed away on Monday June 15, 2015.

She was born on June 23, 1927 in Akron, Ohio where she met and married the love of her life, E.G. "Cal" Kalman on May 10, 1953.

They moved to Stow in 1960 and remained there until she relocated to Austin, TX in 2007 to be near her daughter, Robin. There she touched those around her with her sense of humor and a smile that would light up the room. She continued to live with a heavy heart after the loss of her husband of 53 years in 2006. Dee was a loving wife and mom whose family was of utmost importance to her.

Dee is preceded in death by mother Irene Tomaiko and beloved husband Cal Kalman.

She is survived by her sister Juanita Key of Kentucky, daughter Robin Kalman of Austin, TX, son Craig (wife Tessa) and granddaughter Cassie Kalman of Beavercreek, OH, and dear friend Gloria Santos of Austin, TX.

Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Tuesday, June 23rd, at 12 noon at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 AM until service time. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
