STOW- Denise Rachelle Bear, (53), went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2014.
Born in Akron, she was a lifetime area resident, a former teacher's aide at Hudson High School and had been a longtime member of The Chapel, where she served for many years as a Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by her husband Richard; son Michael Brian (Clare) Cottrill of Fairview Park; mother Betty Whisman of Stow; brothers Rupe (Denise) and Dan (Christine) Whisman, all of Cuyahoga Falls, and her faithful dog and companion Savannah.
Friends are invited for visitation Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where Pastor Myron Lindsey will conduct a memorial service Friday 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Road, Cleveland, OH 44113.
