Dolores Arlene Stebbins Long

Dolores Arlene Stebbins Long, 76, passed away November 20, 2013. Born October 2, 1937 in Akron, OH she was a graduate in 1955, from Cuyahoga Falls High School and as a registered nurse from Idabelle Firestone in 1958. She married Paul Frederick Long, a lifelong resident of Stow in 1958.



Dolores is the mother of Larry Leland Long (Jill), Jennie Lee Sutton (Fred), and Paul Atkinson Long (Deborah). She adored her grandchildren, Kirsten Nicole Long, Hannah Elizabeth Long and Sean Phillip Sutton and idolized her great-grandchildren, Harley Ryan Quinn, Rorri, Mavrick, and Deklin Sutton.



Preceded in death by her parents Thomas Atkinson Sr., and Inez Stebbins, and brother Thomas Atkinson Stebbins Jr., Dolores is survived by brother William E. Stebbins of Florida and sister-in-law Shirley Stebbins of Stow and many nieces and nephews whom she adored as she did her own children.



Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitationFriday from 6 to 9 PM. Graveside service will be conducted Saturday 9 AM at Stow Cemetery. PLEASE MEET AND FORM PROCESSION AT THE FUNERAL HOME. As a 50 year member of the First Christian Church, in lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to First Christian Church of Stow, 3493 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224.
