Domenic Letta

STOW- Domenic Letta, 78, died peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2014 with his wife Marian at his side.
A lifelong resident of Akron, Domenic was born to Antonio and Louisa Letta on June 4th, 1936, the youngest of seven siblings who preceded him in death: brothers Mario, Sam, Albert and Joseph and sisters Chris Barbuto and Ann Marinucci.
Dom was employed with the City of Akron, retiring after 32 years of service. He was an avid sports fan, bowling two 300 games and umpiring many baseball games. He was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Dom leaves his wife of 25 years Marian; daughter Shauna; four grandchildren and four step-children; many nieces and nephews.
Dom was very personable, never meeting a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 17th from 4 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road in Stow, where Father Kevin Elbert will conduct service Wednesday 10:30 AM. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, 3450 Sycamore Drive, Stow 44224 or the American Cancer Society, 525 N Broad St, Canfield, Ohio44406-9274.
