Obituary of Doreen Rosina Saltis

Doreen Rosina Saltis, age 94, died May 12, 2019 in Cuyahoga Falls.

She was born in London, England on December 3, 1924. Doreen was the widow of the late Lawrence R. Saltis, whom she married in England during WWII, and together they moved to America in 1947 and lived in Stow, Ohio until his death in 1990.

Doreen enjoyed taking care of her family, sewing, cooking, and telling stories of her life in England. She was a joy and a blessing to all her family and friends, and their hearts are broken with her passing.

Doreen was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Zipsir in 1992. She is survived by her son Lawrence M. (Marilouise) Saltis, grandchildren Larry (Joan), Heath (Dorothy), Michael, Mia, Katarina, and Alexis Saltis, Tegwen (Mike) Beaudreau and Molly (Dave) Koskela, as well as seven great-grandchildren.
