Obituary of Doris Mae Ashmore-Kent

Our mother, Doris Ashmore-Kent, 86, left this earth to join her Heavenly Father and the love of her life, Paul Ashmore on August 24, 2017, after a long illness.

She was born on September 5, 1930 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Ralph and Nell Warnock. She moved to Stow, Ohio in 1964. Doris retired from Hudson High School after many years of service. She was also a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Stow. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul R. Ashmore and her second husband, Roy A. Kent.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Linda (Dave) Smith and son Robert (Janet) Ashmore; grandchildren, Angela Seeley, David (Claudia) Smith and Denise (Chris) Sturgeon, ; great-grandchildren, Rachel Seeley and Laney Sturgeon; granddaughter Joey, great grandson James, step-grandchildren Tami Elwell and Dave Wands, step-great grandchildren T.J., Nicoleand Jason, step great great granddaughter Kylee,sister, Carolyn Warnock and her special cousin, Bud, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends and family from 5 to 8 PM, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Redmon Funeral Home (3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224), where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1 PM. Interment will be held at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
