Obituary of Dorothy P. Carpenter
Dorothy P. Carpenter, 90, died June 2, 2015 in West Palm Beach, FL.
Born in Stow, she was a lifetime area resident and longtime member of Stow Community United Church of Christ. Dorothy retired as a teacher from the Stow schools in 1986 after 28 years service.
Preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1968, her parents and one sister, she is survived by one brother; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Monday 11 AM at Stow Community Church, 1567 Pilgrim Drive, Stow 44224 where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Burial Stow Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44308.
