Dorothy H. Hanson

STOW- Dorothy H. Hanson, 88, died November 25, 2015.

Born in Akron, she was a resident of Stow since 1954 and had retired from Kent State University in 1993 after 15 years service. Dorothy was an active member of First Christian Church of Stow and enjoyed giving to others through her service there and everywhere she went.

Preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in 1959, she is survived by her daughter Kim of Stow; sons Karl (Sheri) of CA, Jeff of Chicago and Kenneth (Tracey) of Wadsworth: grandchildren Reggie, Greg and Jesse, and sister Betty Hull of Georgia.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday 4 to 7 PM, where Rev. Jonathan Rumburg will conduct service Thursday 4 PM. Private burial at Crown Hill. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Stow, 3493 Darrow Road Stow 44224.
