Eleanor F. Kenney, 88, passed away at home Thursday, January 6, 2011. Born in Akron, she was a member of the OES, Kadesh Court Order of the Mystic Shrine and had attended Parkside Church.
Preceded in death by her husband Lloyd in 1995, she is survived by daughter Debbie (Greg) DiBerardino, sons Gale (Gerry) and Gary (Caroline), grandchildren Brandon (Amanda) Kenney, Lauren (Aaron) Clark and Tim (Kristi) DiBerardino, great-grandchildren Evelyn Kenney, Taylor Clark, Abby DiBerardino and Brady DiBerardino, sister-in-law Thelma Snyder.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday from 3 to 6 PM. Pastor Ron Klein will conduct service Monday 1:30 PM at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333. Mrs. Kenney's video tribute may be viewed here.
