Obituary of Elizabeth M. Scheeser



HUDSON - Elizabeth "Betty" M. Scheeser, 91, died February 14, 2017.

Born in Cleveland, she was a lifelong area resident, former member of Holy Family Parish and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Betty was an avid golfer and member of Hudson Country Club.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter in 1980, brothers, Edmond Metrick in 1973 and Leo Metrick in 1983, she is survived by her children, Karron Brown, Maureen (Dale) Booth, Mitchell (Karen) Scheeser, Ellie (Jeff) Ward, Maryann (Vinny) Goldthwaite and Christopher (Angie) Scheeser; grandchildren, Chad (Kristi) Brown, Jyl (Raphael) McLaughlin, Matthew (Lyndi) Booth, Levi (Christel) Booth, Aaron (Barbara) Booth, Elizabeth (Tony) Hvizdos, Andrew Ward, Marissa Ward, Allen LeVan and Brian LeVan; 15 great-grandchildren; and two half-sisters, Eleanor (Stan) Ferguson and Sally Lafferty.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Crossroads Hospice and the Laurel Lake Community for their care and support of Betty. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 1742 Georgetown Road, Hudson, Ohio 44236 or Laurel Lake Retirement Community, 200 Laurel Lake Drive, Hudson, OH 44236.

Funeral service will be held at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:30 PM where friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
