STOW- Ennio R. Riccillo passed away January 7, 2013 after a short illness.

He was born April 23, 1937 in Carovilli, Italy to Mario and Maddalena Riccillo.

Ennio retired from Ohio Edison after 37 years and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He was very active in the Italian community, including the Italian Language classes. He loved to travel, dance and listen to Italian music. For many years he was actively involved in soccer and was a founding member of the Stow Soccer Club. He was devoted to his family and was very proud of his 4 grandchildren.

Ennio is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Cesira; his sons David (Janelle), Donald (Carol) and John; daughter Anna (Bill) Waters; grandchildren Ryan, Ian, Rachel, and Jacob. He is also survived by his brother Carl (Laura) Carano and sister Velia (Gino) Finelli and several nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to the SCV-ICU staff at Summa Akron City Hospital.

Calling hours will be Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron 44310, Fr. James Ragnoni, celebrant. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to the National MS Society, Ohio Buckeye Chapter, 6155 Rockside Road, Suite 202, Independence, 44131 to benefit Team Banana's Bunch.
