Eugene A. Mould Ii

Eugene A. Mould II, 79, of Stow was born December 22, 1937. Gene left one Paradise for another on December 28, 2016. As a 1955 graduate of Bedford High School, he treasured the many friendships he made throughout high school and his lifetime. After graduation, he served in the US Navy, going on to work most of his life in the refrigeration industry. Gene had two passions: his family and golf, and he enjoyed attending both the sporting and theatre events of all the children he loved so dear. You could always count on Gene to be your "biggest fan," rooting you on from the sidelines.

Upon retirement 19 years ago, Gene golfed five days a week at Fox Den, Raccoon Hill, and most recently Paradise Lake Golf Course. Although, his game may not have improved as much as he would have liked, the friendships fostered and memories made there were truly cherished.

He is survived by his fiance, Sandy Allen, his loving children Susan (Dave) Svenson, Eugene A. III and Patti Jo (Tony), grandchildren Tyler, Samantha, Austin, Nicholas and Madelyn, and great-grandsons Jackson and Aden. He also leaves behind his beloved brothers, James (Mary) and Thomas, niece Lynne Marie (Tim) and nephews, Thomas, Timothy (Lauren), Steven (Kate), and many cousins. He was a dear friend to Kristen (Kevin) Kalinowski, Wendy (Steve) Fiebig, Nancy (Brian) Lillibridge and family as well as the Sutyak family. He was "Papa Gene" to many others.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Mary and his nephew Jimmy Lee. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Hospice of Medina. Family will receive friends for visitation at Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am, and lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gene's memory to the Stow FOP or the Stow Public Library.
