Obituary of Ewell Silvey
Ewell "Rube" Silvey, 83, passed away February 22, 2014. Born in Fayette, MO, he was active with Teamsters Local #24 for 38 years retiring from Yellow Freight Systems in 1985.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Zerna, son Fred (Barb), grandsons Russell (Jennifer), Randy (Jennifer), great-grandchildren Lillian and Madison with Henry on the way. Rube is also survived by sisters Delores, Jeannie and Paula, brothers Bob, Bud and Jack and many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. Pastor Adam Romans will conduct service Thursday 10:30 AM at Parkside Church, Green Campus, 4520 S. Arlington Rd.,
