Florence C. Dalton

TALLMADGE - Florence (Flo) Dalton passed away March 19, 2016 in Tulsa, OK while staying with family.

Born August 19, 1925 in Cleveland, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dalton; son, Patrick Dalton; and daughter, Jeanne White. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (John) Krause, and Peggy (Rob) Verner; sons, Jay (Phyllis) Dalton, and Mike (Jane) Dalton; son-in-law, Doug White; as well as 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and other loving extended family.

Flo never met a stranger. She had the unique ability to make everyone with whom she crossed paths feel particularly special and cared for. Her kindness and generosity knew no boundaries. She never said a disparaging word about anyone. Her most cherished relationship was with Jesus Christ, and she lived her faith every single day. Florence led an active and interesting life, always on the go. She was fortunate to enjoy the past 15 years traveling the world with family.

The family will receive friends at the Redmon Funeral Home on Darrow Road in Stow, April 1, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her memory at Saint Anthony Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron, April 2, 2016 at 10 AM followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Flo's name to the charity of your choice or to one of the following that were close to her heart: Saint Anthony's Parish, Leukemia Society or The American Heart Society.
