STOW -- Florence T. "Flo" Brown, 89, died October 2, 2016.

Born in Chicago, she was an area resident most of her life and had been employed with Marcel's and then Art's Place, where she retired after more than 25 years service. Flo was an avid golfer and loved to fish, and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Flo's first husband, Stephen Novak, died in 1980. They had five children, Paul Novak of FL, Thomas (Roswitha) Novak of MA, Martin (Marian) of Homeworth, OH, Elaine Zajac of Northfield, and Steve (Barbara) of Walton Hills. She married Robert Brown in 1983, giving her two step-children, Pamela (Sam) Giarrusso and Robert, Jr. (deceased) and his wife Patricia. Flo is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Elizabeth Larsen and brother Richard Ryan, Jr.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday 6 to 9 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial Friday 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Fr. Kevin Klonowski celebrant. Interment Crown Hill Burial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
