Obituary of Frank Lukens

STOW - Frank S. Lukens, 87, died July 12, 2017.

He was born February 18, 1930 and lived in Stow most of his life. He was raised on Sunny Dell Farm and attended Stow High School, where he played basketball and graduated in 1948. In 1951 he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving 18 months in Korea.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Patsy; son Gary (Debbie); daughter April (Gary) Fordyce; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nephews; one niece; one great-niece; one great-nephew; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and many friends. Frank was preceded in death by sons, Stephen and Brian, grandson, Curt and niece, Carri.

A service will be held on July 23rd at 1 PM at 4573 Newcomer Road in Stow. A memorial dinner will follow at 2 PM at the Acker-Moore VFW, 3733 Fishcreek Road in Stow.
