CUYAHOGA FALLS - Gale O. Botzer, 75, passed away July 23, 2013.
Born in Akron, Gale was a lifetime area resident and had resided in the Cuyahoga Falls area the past 15 years. Gale worked as a construction laborer for Local 894 of the Laborers' International Union of North America, retiring in 1998.
Preceded in death by his parents Audley and Beatrice (Foster) Botzer; sisters Jeanette Kohler and Donna Botzer; he is survived by his son Richard (Tifanie); daughters Deanna Botzer and Darla (Paul) Nash; grandchildren Chelsea (Lacy) Ponsart, Brent Botzer, William Nash and Elizabeth Nash; sister Karen Swank and eight nieces.
The family extends a special thank you to the Summa Physicians House Call doctors who took care of Dad the last three years. Thank you as well to Hospice of Summa for keeping Dad comfortable his last few days.
Cremation has taken place. Private internment Greenlawn Memorial Park.
