George P. Ina

George P. Ina, 86, died March 8, 2017. Born in Cleveland, he went to Saint Ignatius High School, served his country in the U.S. Air Force, and graduated from Kent State University. George and his wife, Margaret, met at Kent State University, raised their family in Wooster, and later retired to Stow, Ohio to be near their grandchildren. He was a lifelong Cleveland sports fan, a lover of the Ohio State Buckeyes, and a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
Preceded in death by parents, Philip and Ida Ina, and sister, Jeanette Ina, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret, daughter Beth Ina, son Greg (Michelle) Ina, grandsons Kevin and Benjamin Ina, sister Marie Ina, and brother Donald Ina.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow for visitation Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Reverend Karen Drotar will conduct a memorial service Monday 1:30 p.m. at the Stow United Methodist Church, 4880 Fishcreek Road, Stow.
