Obituary of George F. Johnson
STOW - Dr. George F. Johnson, DDS, 88, died April 7, 2016.
Born in Akron, he graduated from Buchtel High School, Kent State University and received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. He maintained his dental practice in Kent from 1957 until his retirement in 1991. Dr. Johnson was in ROTC, served in the US Air Force and enjoyed traveling, golfing, rose gardening, and spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Edna Winkler Johnson; aunts, Ruth (Don) Williams, Lillian (Virgil) Stouffer and dear friend, Richard Roszkowski. George is survived by his longtime loving companion, Jeri M. Roszkowski and her children, Diane (Lee) Drewette, Christine (Dan) Stevens, Lori (Ron) Thomas, Tim Roszkowski, Jon (Brenda) Roszkowski, Elizabeth Roszkowski; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday 4 to 7 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct the service Tuesday at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
